Hi, I’m Elizabeth.

I offer developmental editorial support to academic writers at every stage of the publication process: from book proposals to post-peer review revisions. I specialize in the humanities and social sciences. I am a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association and have been trained in developmental editing by Laura Portwood-Stacer through the Manuscript Works course “Professional Developmental Editing for Academics.”

I received my MFA in Creative Writing from Mount Saint Mary’s University and my BA from the University of Notre Dame, where I majored in the Program of Liberal Studies and Peace Studies. Before working as a developmental editor, I was a Fulbright Fellow, taught high school English and Creative Writing, and worked as an editor and project manager for nonprofit organizations focused on environmental conservation, housing, and education.

I live in Los Angeles. My writing has been published in Notre Dame Magazine, Copper Nickel, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, and elsewhere.
